Halpro Inc. was established in 1962 by John W. Bivins
and Robert H. King. Our goal was to offer a well-rounded machine shop featuring
precision and general machined parts, never willing to compromise on quality. Our
medium size allows us to be extremely quality conscious, while remaining readily accessible to our customers.
Our traditional manufacturing equipment is complimented
by 4 CNC machines, computer programming, and some of the most advanced technology in computer software available in the industry. Through innovation techniques, we are able to use these machines to their maximum
potential and efficiency. On the Matsura 1000 VS, the maximum size capabilities
range includes material up to 10” in depth, 48” in width and up to 12’ in length. The Matsura 710 has a geared head, which allows heavy cutting of tough materials while maintaining extremely
close tolerances. The Matsura 510 VA has a maximum spindle speed of 10,000 RPM. This allows the drilling of very small holes while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. The Methods Slant Turning Center can swing a maximum of 13” diameter, 14”
in length. In the traditional equipment, the Hercules Gap Lathe can turn material
up to 25” in diameter. We also maintain a full compliment of Bridgeport
Mills, Hardinge Tool Room Lathes, and supporting accessories.
Our In-House Quality Control Department conforms to the MIL-STD-I-45208. All
of our inspection equipment is calibrated on a regular schedule with certified gauging traceable to the National Institute
of Standards and Technology.
